GM was good for the part, & he got a good drum sound for that style/genre...but he was no NP...that could be good or bad...] ;c)
I agree - NP should've just took the applause, accolades, & that award for his accomplishments & left it at that, & not tried to play to the BRBB. But he DID produce NTM put up the considerable amount of $ to do that disc & vid - props to him for that [& for his accomps w Rush], DEF. So, a big THX to him 4 that. 1 heckuva guy.
Oh, wth, NP & GM "done good" for their prespective roles ATT [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] ...self-proclaimed rock drummers... & decent ones at that, Both diff, yet unique in sound...
But lately Rik E has up'd it a notch [or 20] & has been known to have played w the likes of Randy Cooke; & then there's all those other great CAN drummers around these daze, starting w Paul DL & onward...good stuff for shore. Isn't mofro R Gratton orig from Can AW?
